The journey to parenthood is often bittersweet
Society tells us that becoming a parent will be a natural, seamless process filled with joyous moments. Unfortunately, this is often not the reality. Many people face a range of challenges, such as infertility, pregnancy loss, loss of identity, and perinatal depression and anxiety.
I recognize and acknowledge that this can be a difficult time, and I am here to support you regardless of where you are in your journey. My focus is providing a safe space, exploring coping tools and offering strength-based solutions that can help restore your emotional well-being.
Hello, I'm Alanna

Licensed Therapist, Perinatal Mental Health Specialist, and Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapist
I specialize in supporting people as they approach, and transition into, parenthood—regardless of the stage you are in—to feel prepared, healthy, and ready to regain some control.
These times can be exceptionally difficult, because what you’re carrying isn’t just stress — it’s a rupture in how you understand yourself, your body, your fertility, your story.
What happened to you lives within you, not just your mind. That’s why this work goes deeper than talking about it. It’s about creating safety again — on a nervous system level. It’s about grieving what didn’t happen, making space for what did, and slowly reclaiming a sense of trust and connection with this new you.
I’m here to help you find a path forward, as I walk alongside you through the unique challenges of these phases of life.
I’m so glad you’re here.

A note about Insurance:
It is important to understand that in order to file a claim with your insurance I will be required to assign a mental health diagnosis that fits the symptoms for which you are seeking treatment. This will become a part of your permanent health record. Your diagnosis will be discussed with you to ensure your comfort with the claims filing process.
For complete confidentiality some clients opt not to use their insurance to avoid having a mental health diagnosis on their health record. I honor your preferences and respect their rights to privacy. You can discuss your questions or concerns about this during your free phone consultation and opt for self-pay if that feels more comfortable.
